It was 6:45 a.m. this morning, when I heard this faint little cry. It was my adorable Emily. I thought to myself, doesn't she know how to sleep in? I went in Emily's room to get her up and I just rocked her. As I rocked her, she laid her head on my shoulder and one arm on my other shoulder and she just cuddled with me. Then all of a sudden, she puts her head up and stares at me and gives me this big smile. What a moment. It was priceless. It reminded me of when I would cuddle with my mom when I was a young girl. We sat there for awhile, playing for Minnie Mouse, eating her hears and nose. What a blessing I had in my arms, what I gift from God I held in my arms. Sometimes I get so busy, that I know I missed out on moments like that one. It reminded me to slow down and keep my eyes open for those priceless moments.
